Busy Summer Days!

This poor neglected blog is long overdue for an update! We have been so busy playing this summer - here's a little of what we've been up to:We went to Hogle Zoo and had tons of fun, particularly in the playground area. (He's in a giant egg in the first photo.) We've been exploring and playing lots both in the house (soo hot outside!) and out in the yard. The fifth photo makes me laugh - he always wants to wear sunglasses, but he doesn't like that they are dark and he can't see very well, so he tries and tries and tries to wear them on his forehead. They always fall down, and he usually ends up getting sooo frustrated! We've also been playing in the swimming pool, with the sprinklers, and, of course, the trike and monster truck. Last week, my friend, Ginger and I took our kids to the park to get a few summertime photos - I can't believe how much he loves the bubble machine - he runs up to it, giggles, and then runs away and dances. It's so cute and so funny.
Anyway, that's where I've been - maybe the summer will get a little less busy and I can post a little more frequently on my blog. :-)

These are wonderful...there used to be a park that I went to as a little kid that had a lion drinking fountain too...that is so cool. I haven't seen one in a long time!!!

What a FUN series of shots! I had to laugh at the sunglasses--they look like he moved on from the Rubik's cube to them!

These are all so great. I kept thinking I had a favorite and then it got replaces with a new one. Your little boy has the most beautiful smile...and as the mom of a curly haired doll myself, I love his curls.

I loved every picture! The glasses made me giggle! I also loved the chillin in the monster truck! I think it is incredible how he sat long enough to take that! He is at the age I call the ... Mover and Shaker age! You are an amazing photographer! I think it is cool how many peoples lives you have touched... like mine but more importantly your sons! Wendy
